FACHPACK is the leading European trade fair for packaging, technology and sustainability. During these three days, we will showcase how we, as a manufacturer of caps and closures, respond to the changing demands in the packaging world, including the upcoming PPWR legislation. From shaker caps to sauce caps and from plastic screw caps to our signature metal-look closures, Kornelis offers a wide range of closing solutions for the food industry. Metal-look closure: a sustainable alternative with style
One of our innovations is the metal-look closure — a plastic closure that looks like metal but is much lighter and easier to recycle. This provides a circular alternative to traditional metal caps for glass jars. The metal-look closure is available in diameters of 63 mm, 66 mm, 70 mm and 82 mm, with the 63 mm and 70 mm also offered in a low-profile version. This solution perfectly aligns with the goals of the PPWR legislation, focusing on reusability, recyclability and material reduction.

Custom sealing solutions with environmental awareness
Besides closures, we also supply tamper-evident solutions tailored to various product requirements. Think of glued seals or induction sealing, with or without printing. We deliberately choose materials like PP foil or induction foil that have the lowest possible environmental impact, all adapted to your product and future regulations.
