Innovations

For the right barrier of a product, not only the cap is important but also the sealing by a liner. Next to producing standard and custom made caps, Kornelis is also specialised in adding various liners to the caps. In the wide range of foil and liners which can be glued and heated into caps, our R&D department has now developed the multitab.

IML
Innovation

IML (Inmould Labeling) is a technique where a preprinted label of polypropylene (PP) is placed in the mould. Then the molten PP is added to the mould. It fuses with the label and while curing, takes the shape of the mould. Result: label and packaging become one.
